No War with Iran
The Iran nuclear agreement was designed to keep the world safer by ensuring all of Iran’s potential pathways to obtaining nuclear weapons were blocked. President Trump’s reckless withdrawal from the agreement led to an almost total collapse of diplomatic relations between the countries. While President Biden had originally signaled that he would repair those relations with a policy of compliance-for-compliance return to the terms of the original deal, he has continued to hesitate (and authorize unapproved bombings in the Middle East), with the faint hope of leveraging the shameful Trump policy of crippling sanctions against an over-hyped enemy.
