We envision a world without war and without nuclear weapons, with resources devoted to human needs and a sustainable environment rather than militarism

60th Anniversary of Cuban Missile Crisis

October, 16, 2022 marks the beginning of the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis — when the Soviet Union and U.S. engaged in a tense standoff over the installation of nuclear weapons in Cuba. It is widely considered the closest the two superpowers ever came to nuclear war… until now.

If we don’t work for peace, who will?

An obscene and ballooning military budget, over 800 U.S. foreign military bases, “kinetic” wars in several countries, a dramatic increase in the threat of nuclear war, the decimation of diplomacy as a tool—before it is too late, let’s build the political will to change U.S. foreign policy.

Stop the Ballooning Pentagon Budget
